fish 2.6.0-2 is now available in Cygwin. This is a Cygwin-only update. It
fixes a bug where the Cygwin startup script for fish was overriding the
order of the PATH, which should always have the paths in fish_user_paths at
the front. Thanks to Whek Rin for reporting the bug and offering a fix.[1]
fish is the friendly interactive shell. It's a Unix shell that focuses on
interactive use, discoverability, and user friendliness. The design goal of
fish is to give the user a rich set of powerful features in a way that is
easy to discover, remember, and use.
