Other changes:

lftp: host name resolve timeout
The last version that worked under Cygwin was 3.4.4. The issue is
mentioned in the INSTALL file (although the mentioned workaround does
not work either):
" * lftp cannot resolve host names
Try `configure --without-libresolv' - it can sometimes help."
