rxvt-unicode 7.7-5 - titles displaying wrongly

i just upgraded to 7.7-5 from 7.7-4 and noticed that it breaks my
titles of sessions that i create. it only seems to happen when using
the fluxbox windowmanager. i tried with fvwm2 and the titles appear
fine in 7.7-5.

attached are screenshots of the effect.

the title is now displaying a square box for letters, but it doesn't
seem to be consistantly the same number as the number of chars i would
expect. i thought it might be that the font just wasn't showing
correctly, and for each char it replaces it with a box char, but
whereas when it's working correctly, the title would display the
current path, the incorrect version either shows 1 or 5 square chars.

downgrading to 7.7-4 fixes the issue, and titles show correctly again.
i also tried removing any font options in my .Xresources for rxvt, but
that only (correctly) affects the font of the text in the main window.

i invoke rxvt through a demon, my .xinitrc contains:
urxvtd -q & udpid=$!

and i open sessions running
urxvtc -e /bin/bash --login

attached is my cygcheck output.

i can provide any other output if needed.
if there's a change in the way titles are rendered that needs to be
filtered to fluxbox, then i can liase those changes, but only
rxvt-unicode seems to be going wrong (emacs, xterm and any other xapp
i run are fine).

tia,
mark
