Agreed.
A common recommendation in the Windows world is to use C:\progra~1 which
is GENERALLY right but not totally reliable if either of the following
is true:
1) This is a second copy of Windows installed
where an older C:\Progra~1 already
existed -- and so we have c:\progra~2 etc.
Here's a new one to add to that: Windows XP x64 uses *two* program files
directories:
C:\Program Files
C:\Program Files (x86)
Most stuff now goes in the second (x86) directory because we don't yet
have programs compiled for x64.
