Any other symptoms you can describe? Your attachments were sent as
octet-stream instead of text, which made it a bit harder to see your
script, but nothing obvious jumps out at me. Could you perhaps have an
antivirus scanner or something else interfering with infinite loop rapid
process creation? I can't reproduce the problem here.

You didn't report your bash version, but your cygwin version. Try looking
at this:
