- Subject: linking WXVTK with CYGWIN.
Hello all,
I need help on compiling / linking WXVTK (http://wxvtk.sourceforge.net/)
with *cygwin*. WXVTK is a library / tool for combining Kitwares
Visualisation Toolkit VTK with wxWindows (an open Soure,
platform-independent GUI library). These libraries are necessary
building WXVTK.
What I did:
- setting up VTK 4.4 with shared-libs
- setting up wxWINDOWS 2.4.2 with static libs
- tried compiling WXVTK ...
I could fullfill all steps on linux machine using gcc 3.3, make and cmake.
Now, with *cygwin*, WXVTK compiles, but won't link. This is the Linker
Info troubling me:
.
Info: resolving
__/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/3.3.3/../../../libcygwin.a(lib
cmain.o)(.text+0xb3): undefined reference to `_WinMain@16'
.
Is this a cygwin-problem? I assume it is, that's why I posting it in
here. Please correct me, when I'm wrong.
Any ideas would be apreciated.
Thanks,
Torsten.
