question re setting (on the Windows XP laptop) NFS server, provid ed by Cygwin


Hi,

Could someone kindly provide me with detailed info how to install/set(on the
Windows XP laptop)the NFS server, provided by Cygwin (as I was referred to
it by e-mail from bertrand marquis - 
see our e-mail exchange attached/forwarded below) ?

Hi,

For the nfs server i use the one provided with cygwin and it is working
well, you just have to mount the directory with the flag "executable" to
be shure that init will be executalbe. I also found that exporting a
directory for everyone ( the *) doesn't work so i have to specify every
ip adress i want to have access.
