Is the SID (the string of numbers starting with "S-") above correct?
Also, the name in the passwd entry is "bonga", althouth the value of
$USER is "foo".  Are you sure you've included the correct passwd entry?
Besides, FWICT, the above is not the contents of your /etc/passwd, it's
the output of "mkpass[wd?] -l".  I think you'd better attach your full
/etc/passwd instead (there is no information there that could be used to
compromise your system security).

Please don't do that.  First off, it's the full output that's interesting,
in this case, the output of "id" and the list of installed packages, both
of which you've snipped.  Secondly, please attach it as an uncompressed
text *attachment* to the message, instead of including it inline, because
the full output contains a list of packages that will produce false
positive hits in the archive searches unless it's in an attachment.
