Hi Martin,
Thank you very much for your advice so far. I think I have some more
troubles - I tried what you sugested below..

$ cd ~
$ pwd
/home/rob
$ [ -f /usr/include/stdio.h ] && echo yes || echo no

$ include=/usr/include && INCLUDE=/usr/include
$ set | grep include
INCLUDE=/usr/include
include=/usr/include
$ gcc text.c
In file included from /usr/include/stdio.h:29,
from text.c:1:
/usr/include/_ansi.h:16:24: sys/config.h: No such file or directory

$
Do you know of anything else I might try? :(
