Compiling irda socket code

Now i almost pinpointed my problem to:

108:	struct sockaddr_irda {
109:		sa_family_t sir_family;   /* AF_IRDA */
110:		__u8        sir_lsap_sel; /* LSAP selector */
111:		__u32       sir_addr;     /* Device address */
112:		char        sir_name[25]; /* Usually <service>:IrDA:TinyTP
*/
113:	};

This snippet don't compile in Cygwin with the following output:

/usr/include/linux/irda.h:109: parse error before "sa_family_t"
/usr/include/linux/irda.h:113: parse error before '}' token

The snippet is from the headerfile, irda.h. And sa_family_t is formerly
defined in sockaddr.h:

/* POSIX.1g specifies this type name for the `sa_family' member. */
typedef unsigned short int sa_family_t;

/* This macro is used to declare the initial common members
   of the data types used for socket addresses, `struct sockaddr',
   `struct sockaddr_in', `struct sockaddr_un', etc.  */

#define	__SOCKADDR_COMMON(sa_prefix) \
  sa_family_t sa_prefix##family

Any ideas?

Regards Daniel
