I tried everything now it may have something to do with starting it dirctly from a view
command within mutt. If I save it and then start it either through windows or cygstart
command it does not have any corruption.

Also I could not figure out what exactly is causing:

the ???????
is it a group not found in my /etc/group?

I wonder what group word is running as when it creates this tmp file?
