Anthony,
I never before heard of this program. That's nice to know.
The man page mentions that it's only really effective on "simple-minded"
file systems, which according to the man page excludes journaled file
systems. So I'm wondering if it is effective under NTFS?

Hi,
I am searching for way to build Explorer shell integration tools that I
can call
from say the Explorer "Send To" menu and have it execute a shell script
without
the annoying DOS shell.
For example it would be great to have a "Shred File(s)" target in the
"Send To" menu
that would result in a script calling the shred -u cygwin command, (of
course after
translating the paths from windows to unix).
Any ideas?
Thanks
Anthony
