Cygwin hostname reads
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ComputerName\ActiveComputerName]
"ComputerName"="<uppercase_name>"
while the native reads
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters]
"ComputerName"="<lowercase_name>"
