RE: Traceroute?


Igor,

I don't think that's advisable. I foresee problems when "traceroute" appears to exist yet does not act like Unix traceroute. Most especially if a script tries to use it. Heaven forefend that some auto-configure script out there looks for traceroute for some reason.

Better to acknowledge that it's a similarly named program with similar capabilities but not try to pretend it's the same program that's found under Unix.
