I think you misunderstood, I emailed you because you asked for feedback
on usage and I'm giving it :). I don't need support and I realize it
might not work, just giving you a heads up as requested. Also, you
asked the kde-cygwin mailing list to see how kde works on it, again all

In short, the cygserver is not running/available properly on your
system. I suggest that you do -not- run it under cygwin itself.

I just compiled cvs sources a few minutes ago with the patches you
provided on March 03 to test cygserver functionality on WindowsME.
After compiling and installing the dll, I ran "cygserver.exe &". I
then compiled the ipctests and ran "make check". Here are
