[ANNOUNCEMENT] Updated: vim-5.8.9-1

I've updated the version of VIM in cygwin/latest to 5.8.9-1.

This version contains all official patches to vim up to the current
patchlevel 9 (which partly don't bother us, but...):

5.8.001 On MS-DOS and MS-Windows: CTRL-V x <special-key> crashes
5.8.002 The dtd.vim syntax file produced error messages
5.8.003 When exiting Vim cursor was sometimes in the wrong place
5.8.004 Including a syntax cluster in itself caused a crash
5.8.005 GTK GUI: Vim may exit if 'shell' is not a valid program
5.8.006 defining a highlight link overruled existing GUI highlighting
5.8.007 Synchronizing on a C comment failed after "//*/".
5.8.008 GTK GUI: crash when pasting text in another application
5.8.009 Mac: make Vim compile with CodeWarrior Pro 2

===========================================================
vim-5.8-1 depends on an installed ncurses package!

To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on
the http://cygwin.com web page. This downloads setup.exe to your system.

Run setup and answer all of the questions.

Note that if this is the first time that you've run the new GUI version
of setup, it will currently download the whole cygwin net release again.
After this point it will only download what is needed.

If you have questions or comments, please send them to the Cygwin
mailing list at: cygwin@cygwin.com . I would appreciate
if you would use this mailing list rather than emailing me directly.
This includes ideas and comments about the setup utility or Cygwin
in general.

If you want to make a point or ask a question the Cygwin mailing list is
the appropriate place.
