my TERM env var is f.e xterm or vt100, because I'm logging in via 
telnet.
When I run the TTYfier from a bash directly on the WindowsNT machine, 
it works.
How to install terminfo db instead of termcap? Is there a ready-to-
use package from cygwin?

AFAIK I use the latest 1.3.2.
