admin user as default

I'm a new user of Cygwin and want to ask a probably already asked question.

Even though I log into my W2K workstation as my corporate login id, when
I fire up bash shell, it says I'm logged in as user "admin". Is this something
you can configure so it logs-in as your actual user id?

Thanks in advance.
