Ah, it's actually not old at all! The C++ runtime hasn't changed
in all the minor Cygwin/Mingw specific releases. You're safe.

Because the issue is coming up only now, and thanks to this discussion,
there maybe a solution in future releases.

As Chris points out, I read this list as well, just at a bit slower pace.
Hopefully I'll be able to take a more active role for the next Cygwin net
release to address this.
