When I try to create files such as: //<myServer>/<myShare>/<dir>/<name> they
end up with permission 000:
---------- 1 ds83392 Domain U 26 Jan 17 13:17 hat.exe
And then I cannot chmod them... any ideas how to set the permission to
something usable (eg: 644).
I have:
* set ntsec (as required(?) to get inetd and friends to work)
* tried setting umask
* used mkpasswd and mkgroup (and put the files in /etc)
* mounted the directory rather than using the UNC
* trawled FAQ/User guide/discussion list.
