Problem with "info"

Something that changed between the 10/22 and 10/23 snapshots is preventing
"info" from running properly. Whatever it is, it's still there in the
sources from CVS.
For the 10/22 snapshot, "info" works fine.
For the 10/23 snapshot (and today's CVS sources), "info" writes only the top
and bottoms lines and then appears to hang. Pressing 'q' to quit has no
effect.
Attached is the output from "cygcheck -s -v -r", as well as the gzipped
strace output for "info" using the 10/22 snapshot and the 10/23 snapshot.
