Hi,
I found that my system mounts (at least /, /usr/bin/ and /usr/lib) changed
from binmode to textmode. It happened on two different machines both with
cygwin installed.
The only thing I can think of that changed recently that the new version of
setup.exe, and installing the bash and ash modules. I think I am running
my default file type as DOS.
I noticed it because rpm suddenly couldn't read it's database records anymore.
I fixed it by exiting all cygwin apps, going in with regedit and changing
all the flags for the system mount points from 0x8 to 0xA (hexadecimal).
Anybody else experienced this?
E.
