download script

Hello,

I just downloaded Cygwin using the setup utility found on the Cygwin
website. I chose "Download from Internet" and then "Direct Connection"
as my options. After choosing a mirror the setup script started to
download the various packages. At the end of the downloading the setup
script prompted me with the following message: "Download Complte".
Later on I found the following file which the setup program had
written to my disk (see below). The file indicated that two of the
packages (in this case byacc and opengl) had not been downloaded.
I then reran the setup script and the two files were downloaded
successfully. Last time I downloaded Cygwin the same problem had
happened: I was missing binutils. Now comes my suggestion:

The "Download Complete" message is a little bit inappropriate when
not all packages have been downloaded. A better message would
have been something like

"47 out of 49 Packages Downloaded Succesfully."
"Download remaining packages? [Yes] [No]"

Alternatively the setup program could retry outomatically a few times
so that when ftp fails another attempt is made. Many modern ftp programs
like wget, ws_ftp, wxftp, etc... actually do this. However a warning
would be enough if this sounds too complicated.
