Re: blocking connect()

Stefan, could you please keep replies on-list.

How? see http://sources.redhat.com/ml/cygwin-apps/2000-06/msg00044.html for
a description of the neded fcntl call.

CVS? For cygwin itself I presume. Yes see the cygwin website. "Source in
CVS"
What is the usual build process? For cygwin itself I presume. Make a
directory for building in.. ie cygbuild. then run ../cygwin/configure and
then make
Do you cross compile? I don't. But then my linux machine where I do my
cygwin hacking is my home i/n gateway :-[ P133. And it's not worth booting
to linux to cross compile back to win32. However the redhat staff working on
cygwin crosscompile some/all of the time. (I really have no idea other than
the odd comment from Chris/DJ/Corinna)
What do you need to do work on cygwin1.dll? A machine with the GNU toolchain
on it setup for compiling to a cygwin target. This includes a machine setup
with cygwin itself.
Am I interested in helping alter ioctl to do non-blocking? Yes. Do I have
time (Why haven't I done it myself yet?) Not really but lets see what
happens.

Rob
