Yes. That's why it *does* read the registry.

Setup doesn't produce these messages. Which setup were you using?

I'll try. Win32's not as helpful as it could be.

Setup doesn't print the message that way. The closest message setup
has is "Can't open %s for writing: %s". Again, which setup are you
running?
