Hi!
I have here Windows 2000 Professional english set with default Russian
locale. No problems to use Russian file names under Windows (or, for
that matter, VIM). Unfortunately, Cygwin does not support them. E.g.
ls outputs russian characters in file names as ``?''
programs that use setlocale() + is*() functions does not treat russian
characters as valid printable characters that leads to obvious problems
Is the problem known? mat be, it happens only under Win2k? Because I
know, that some active Cygwin developers are from Russia, it is very
surprising to see such problem :-))))
