Thanks.  Hmm... is the mknetrel released via CVS?

Sounds like a feasible solution.  Also, I would think that a backup copy of any
file replaced should be made.  Maybe, DJ does this, don't know.  I'm thinking
of any configuration file such as inetd.conf as another poster mentioned.
