tape support

Installing a copy of cigwin32 form latest directory does not create
the special files (devices) under /dev directory that are needed to make
tape backups.

i have also errors issueing mknod, wich does not work properly
with the option -m. and without behaves wildly

the tar program, for example, tar -t, or tar -c begins to work but halts
giving an error because of lack of permission to perform the operations
requested

the mt command that i have downloaded from Corinna's site, behaves
randomly...

a little chaos. I think that it may be caused for the mknod failure.

Someone there that has a complete set of instructions about installing
tape support in order to using it with tar will be very useful.

nt 4 svpack 6, ide disks
intel mboard, ati-vga and yamaha olp on-board
colorado floppy tape, that works fine with linux and ftape driver.

thanks.
