Hello,

How about trying these 2 ways:
1.  set your "shell=..." command in exactly config.sys file, not system.ini
file;
or  2.  click the "Properties" of your gnu-win32 window, select "memeory"
panel, set the "environment initial size", click "ok", it will be effective
next time you start your gnu-win32.
