------------------------< snip snip snip >-----------------------------

GNUWin32 package report

 author: mh@mike.franken.de (Michael Hirmke)

    WWW: http://minimike.franken.de/docs/develop/gnuwin32/GNUWin32.txt
    FTP: ftp://ftp.franken.de/pub/win32/develop/gnuwin32/cygwin32/porters/Hirmke_Michael/GNUWin32.txt

version: 1.11
   date: 27.05.1998

------------------------< snip snip snip >-----------------------------

   - 1.11
     - adjusted the format of the package descriptions a bit
     - corrected package description for ispell 3.1 and spell 1.0
     - corrected package description for Xfig 3.2 and transfig
     - "gnuwin32:/..." alias does not work for most web browsers and not
even for most ftp clients, so I adjusted all the links in this
document to point to the orginal file locations

Sorry for the problems with this gnuwin32: alias 8-((
As many people stated, it is not possible to get directly to the
directories and files through links, which contain this alias !
So I changed all the links back and hopefully all problems with getting
packages from our site will disappear now.

*Please everybody, who has linked packages from our site directly with*
*links containing this alias, change your links as appropriate !!*

Once more sorry for the inconvenience 8-(

Bye.
Michael.
