Given that it was apparently (somehow) due to my changes to ilockincr
I thought that by fixing things as recommended by others, it would have
fixed this problem. But, you're right, we need verification on this.
I was going to send out a general plea if we thought we were close to
releasing this.
I know that /dev/dsp is working fine on Windows XP because I have jumped
out of my chair every single time I run the test suite and hear the
strange noises emanating from my speakers.
