This has been discussed many times.  I'd love to have this fixed but I
don't think that the above patch does it:

Cannot export signgam: symbol not defined
Cannot export signgam: symbol not defined
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [new-cygwin1.dll] Error 1
make: *** [/cygnus/build/win32/i686-pc-cygwin/winsup/cygwin/new-cygwin1.dll] Error 2

I think that we probably have to export the __signgam function, don't
we?
