Could the calendar package
o http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/calendar
be included in the next texlive release ?
It's not in upstream TeX Live, presumably because of its non-free license:
http://www.ctan.org/license/nosell
I think this makes it unsuitable for the Cygwin distribution as well,
but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
You are of course free to install it yourself. If you want to do that,
you should put it in /usr/share/texmf-site and then run /usr/bin/mktexlsr.
