I will make libmpc1 obsolete, but if I don't provide that library at
all, some applications end up crashing (notably gcc) due to pulling in
two different versions of the same dependent libraries. Providing it
now as obsolete should make it easier to remove in a second step, I'd
think.
And again, the real head-scratcher is libmpfr4. Once this is updated to
link against libgmp10, all gcc versions that also link directly against
libgmp3 will stop working (at least the 4.5.3 I tried did), so either
these must be updated once more or there is no going back.
