At Yaakov's suggestion, the release number is 2 (to avoid confusion with those who have installed the package previously from Cygwin Ports). The package does not have a man page by default, so I have patched in the man page from Debian. keepassx can be used with a Windows browser: start keepassx and go to Extras -> Settings -> Advanced. In "Custom Browser Command" give the path to your browser. If there is a space in the path, surround the path with quotes, e.g.:

"/cygdrive/c/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/firefox.exe"

Note that the Auto-type feature will not work with a native Windows browser, although you can still copy and paste your login credentials manually.

Many thanks for looking at this package,

Dave.

sdesc: "Qt port of KeePass Password Safe password manager."
ldesc: "KeePassX is an application for people with extremely high demands on secure personal data management. It saves many different information e.g. user names, passwords, urls, attachments and comments in one single database. The entries are sorted in groups, which are customizable. The complete database is always encrypted either with AES (alias Rijndael) or Twofish encryption algorithm using a 256 bit key."
