IMO, this might need coordination with the mingw team. We probably want
our mingw gcc4 to be compatible with *their* mingw gcc4, right?  Ditto
the cross-binutils.  Well, theirs is still in beta...and at present,
TDM's sjlj builds http://www.tdragon.net/recentgcc/ may be more
widespread than mingw.org's dwarf2 ones (and he's up to 4.4.0 now).

OTOH, this hasn't stopped Fedora 11 from shipping a mingw-cross package
set which is based on gcc-4.3.2, complete with a TON of ported
libraries. http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/MinGW

Frankly, that all by itself might get me to switch my linux box from its
current Linux distro to Fedora.
