The patch seems to be reverted, but I see.  I'll update that and send
the patch upstream.  Thanks.

Is the /etc/syslog-ng.conf file owned by the system user?

Not available, sorry.  The HTML documentation was not part of the
upstream package, so I couldn't provide it.  I'm not even sure the
documentation for the 3.0 series is finshed yet.
