Agreed; nothing I have said was meant to discount that option. I'll take a
look at how the alternatives mechanism works.
Heh, I didn't need to go to all the trouble of figuring out how to get it to
name the info files 'remake' instead of 'make' after all!
Must remember to send upstream the build-outside-srcdir patch though.
