All affected maintainers have agreed to the transition. Please review
new packages:
ftp://sunsite.dk/projects/cygwinports/release/util-linux/util-linux-2.12r-2-src.tar.bz2
ftp://sunsite.dk/projects/cygwinports/release/util-linux/util-linux-2.12r-2.tar.bz2
ftp://sunsite.dk/projects/cygwinports/release/util-linux/setup.hint
Please, DO NOT UPLOAD until a new cygutils package without the
conflicting commands is uploaded first.
Uploaded (and uploaded the harmonized cygutils package also). Yaakov,
please send an announcement (for util-linux) to the appropriate list.
I did the following:
(1) moved setsid/ to _obsolete/setsid
(2) updated the following fields in _obsolete/setsid/setup.hint
require: util-linux
category: _obsolete
sdesc: "package removed; install util-linux instead"
(3) created empty package and -src package with higher version number
in _obsolete/setsid/
(4),(5),(6) repeat 1,2,3 for agetty
(7),(8),(9) repeat 1,2,3 for more
(10) uploaded new cygutils-1.3.0-1 package which does not have
cal col colcrt colrm column ddate
getopt mcookie namei rename rev
(11) did **NOT** add util-linux to the requires: of cygutils'
setup.hint
(12) uploaded util-linux package and setup.hint
I think that's what was agreed to; hopefully I didn't mess anything up.
