The package 'clamav' is now available in the Cygwin distribution.
Clam AntiVirus is a GPL anti-virus toolkit for UNIX, featuring:
* command-line scanner
* fast, multi-threaded daemon
* milter interface for sendmail (not applicable)
* database updater with support for digital signatures
* virus scanner C library
* on-access scanning (not yet applicable)
* detection of over 20000 viruses, worms and trojans
* built-in support for RAR (2.0), Zip, Gzip, Bzip2
* built-in support for Mbox, Maildir and raw mail files

This binary distribution was built without any Windows UI. It is in
discussion. You can also use clamavwin instead, a python wxWindows based
package with an install.exe.
A shared libclamav will come with the next update. (Thanks to Yaakov
Selkowitz). No libmilter support. exim/fetchmail/uw-imap-imapd
integration pending.
Expect package updates are quite often: weekly - two weeks. The database
is updated more often: daily to 3 times a day.
